Coding with Scratch – Butterfly Garden

This session, facilitated by Rebecca from Code Club is aimed at learners at the start of second level or who have had little or no experience with Scratch.

Watching nature is a brilliant way to relax, but wildlife doesn’t always come along when you want it to. In this project, you will make a butterfly garden where each butterfly flies in exactly the pattern you tell it to.

What learners will learn

  • How to use motion blocks to create animation

  • How to use the forever block

  • How to use costumes to customise sprites
